Joseph Brooks, M.D.

Dr. Brooks completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Arizona College and Arizona State University. He subsequently obtained the Doctorate of Medicine from Saba University School of Medicine in 2001. Dr. Brooks completed residency training at the Phoenix Integrated Residency of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. Following residency, Dr. Brooks received sub-specialty training in vulvovaginal diseases. In 2008 completed the first fellowship in the United States in vulvovaginal diseases at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and the Arizona Vulva Clinic. In 2009 Dr. Brooks became a fellow of the International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD).

Laura Carroll, PT, DPT, CLT

Laura earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 from Central Michigan University in the field of exercise science. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Central Arkansas in 2004. She has been working in the field of women’s health, cancer rehab, and orthopedic physical therapy since that time.

Laura is very passionate about helping women overcome pelvic floor dysfunction, which is often responsible for symptoms such as pelvic pain, lower back or hip pain, urinary and fecal urgency or incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. In 2008 she was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP – Pelvic) by the American Physical Therapy Association. Laura is also very experienced at helping cancer patients with their recovery and became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) in 2008. In addition, she serves as an adjunct faculty and guest lecturer at Midwestern University in Glendale, and A.T. Still University in Mesa.

Laura moved to Arizona 3 years ago and lives in the valley with her husband and son. She enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with her family.
